Also.glad to meet somewhere near Winston-Salem if you are interested. Not sure of the year but I think this is around 2005 or so. I am a mandolin player and can demonstrate the instrument if need be. This a sold wood mandolin with solid spruce top and flamed maple back, sides, and neck. Has very minimal fret ware which demonstrates it's lack of use. It has new strings and a like new plush hard shell case. It has had very little play time and has been well cared for. This instrument sold new for around $1400. You could compare this to the top end Eastman models (500 and 600 series).
Kentucky mandolin 630 series#
I believe it is second from top of the line as it is my understanding the 1500 series is the top of the line. This is a high quality mandolin in "The Kentucky" line. I am listing this very nice Mandolin for a friend of mine whose husband passed away a few years ago.
